Vision 2030

Building a better Zimbabwe

Our mission is to bridge the digital gap and ensure Zimbabwe catches up to the technological advancements of leading nations like the US and UK. We are dedicated to providing cutting-edge tech, entertainment, cybersecurity and more solutions that empower our users and drive innovation across the country.

“We are ready to partner with local Zimbabwean companies and help improve their technological infrustructures and operations. I personally want to see Zimbabwe's Cyber City project to the end as it is the Silicon Valley and Dubai of our nation.”

It's no secret that our nation is still years behind western countries in terms of technological advancements. Whether or not its because of sunctions or "MNCs being prevented from entering our market", there is an upside to it. We as Zimbabweans get to build the industry and benefit 100% of the profits. Our goals are based on the following 4 main things which all Zimbabwean citizens must do to ensure the continued growth of the tech industry:

  • Build our own products. By making our own software and products we not only provide more jobs but also motivate our youth to aspire to live in Zimbabwe and use their skills within local companies instead of going abroad.
  • Use our own products. Maybe we cant replace Google but there are a lot of other products like accounting software we can replace with locally made products so as to retain income in our country.
  • Treat internet access as a requirement. Without daily mobile data or WiFi connectivity accessible to more than 80% of our nation's working class the market for tech products will be too small to scale.
  • Become a cashless society. Using digital currency (VISA / MasterCard) as the main form of payment is very crucial to the success and security of the tech industry in Zimbabwe.

If and when we as Zimbabweans have come to a state of completion of the above 4 factors only then can we really harness the power of technology and join the modern era which currently is based on AI.

No money? No problem.

Disposable income is the main limiting factor to the growth of the tech industry in Zimbabwe as people can't afford to sustainably grow their businesses whilst paying for enterprise software. Furthermore spending on digital entertainment such as movie or music streaming and online gaming is not even considered.

To help ensure that people have minimum disposable income to spend on digital products we at Xfinity Pros have started an initiative. The EMOZ / Earn Money Online in Zimbabwe initiative is here to educate Zimbabweans on how they might make extra money online.
